Babuji was revered founder of RBKS, who died on January 30th 2016. He was a legend personality. He was born on 2nd February 1931 in Kamalnath Pujari Parivar of Magwas village of Jhadol (Ph) block of Udaipur district. He is well known in the area as “BABUJI”. He was a teacher, simple person who believe in simplicity of life, honesty and determination.
After studying in the Jain boarding school at Phalasia, he began teaching in 1950, running schools in interior villages and working in villages surrounded with forests and hills. He motivated children for education and taught them- working for children’s Education during his whole life. Babuji established Rajasthan Bal Kalyan Samiti (RBKS) in 1981 in a rented building, as a school with 17 students and handed over the organisation to his eldest son Mr. Girija Shankar Sharma as Secretary. Mr. Sharma has also worked with dedication for the organisation’s development from last 38 yrs. During initial stage Babuji faces many challenges for the establishment and running of the organisation. Now established as a major institution of Education and development source for poor, needy and tribal community and underdeveloped area. RBKS is currently working in Rajasthan, Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Chattisgarh, doing monitoring in Odisha and West Bangal and running crèche, 8 schools, 12 colleges, Hostels for 1600 girls and boys. So far more than 20540 students studied from RBKS schools and colleges and are working in government and private sector as doctor, engineers, CA, teacher, nurse, compounder, defense services etc and also working abroad.
Pandit Jeevat Ram Ji affected with paralysis in 2000 but still he took it as challenge and came office daily to get update about every single program and guide the staff. He also visits all 52 unit offices. He was very much caring person always ask every individual about his / her individual, family, work etc. He was also a religious person: in his life he visited various religious and sacred places and always take some person with him who are poor and could not travels to these places at their own.
He was also a good advisor -many person came to get his advice and he was always ready to help them. Once a person meet him never forget BABUJI in their whole life, writes a loyal team member. Pandit Jeevat Ram ji believe in work and also motivate everyone including staff and students to work hard and believe that doing hard work is the key to get success in life.
