Residential Hostels, Orphan Homes and Children Homes
RBKS runs 18 residential hostels, Children’s Homes and Child Welfare Committee (CWC)–recognised facilities, where children are provided a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
These hostels serve children from remote tribal villages, orphaned children, and those from economically weaker families who otherwise have limited access to education. Beyond accommodation, our hostels ensure:
- Nutritious meals and healthcare for physical well-being
- Quality education support through tutorials, mentoring, and extra classes
- Safe and inclusive living spaces where every child is treated with dignity and respect
- Co-curricular and sports activities for all-round development
- Emotional and personal care, ensuring every child feels valued and supported

At RBKS, we believe that every child deserves not just an education, but also love, protection, and opportunities to grow. Our hostels and children’s homes embody this vision, giving hundreds of tribal children a true home away from home.

Health & Hygiene
RBKS emphasizes health as a fundamental human right. In our hostels and children’s homes, we focus on the physical, mental, and social well-being of students by promoting:

Preventive healthcare practices such as vaccinations and regular check-ups
-
Balanced diets and nutrition awareness
-
Education on diseases, symptoms, and prevention
By empowering children with knowledge and healthy habits, RBKS helps them make informed choices for lifelong well-being.

Child Protection
RBKS prioritizes the safety, dignity, and rights of every child. Our teams actively safeguard children from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence by:
-
Identifying and responding to cases of abuse
-
Providing counseling and victim support
-
Promoting child rights and advocacy
-
Raising community awareness on child protection
Through these measures, we create nurturing spaces where children can grow and thrive.
Nutrition & Growth
Proper nutrition is vital for children’s development. RBKS advocates for access to nutritious food, educates communities on balanced diets, and addresses deficiencies through:
-
Nutrition awareness campaigns
-
Targeted feeding programs
-
Partnerships with local stakeholders
By tackling malnutrition, we break cycles of ill health and ensure children can focus on education and personal growth.

Digital & Scientific Learning
RBKS integrates modern learning tools into education:
-
ICT Labs: Every school under RBKS is equipped with ICT facilities to promote computer literacy, digital education, and e-learning.
-
Science Labs: Chemistry and physics labs provide opportunities for hands-on learning, scientific exploration, and confidence building.
These facilities prepare students for higher education and careers, equipping them with essential 21st-century skills.
Beyond Academics – Sports & Culture
RBKS strongly believes in holistic development.
-
Sports Events: Organized regularly to build health, teamwork, discipline, and social cohesion. Sports also serve as a platform to promote causes such as gender equality and inclusivity.
-
Cultural Events: The annual Bhomat Festival is a vibrant celebration of tribal heritage. Through traditional rituals, music, dance, and art, students stay connected to their roots while fostering pride in their identity.
-
Festival Celebrations: From Diwali to local tribal festivals, RBKS uses these occasions to strengthen community bonds and spread messages of equality, justice, and sustainability.
-
Special Day Observances: Events such as Women’s Day, Environment Day, Children’s Day, Yoga Day, and Human Rights Day are celebrated to raise awareness, promote inclusivity, and inspire positive action.

Impact
Through residential hostels, children’s homes, and a strong focus on holistic education, RBKS empowers tribal children—especially girls—to overcome barriers, access quality education, and build brighter futures. By integrating academics with health, safety, culture, and modern learning, RBKS continues to nurture the next generation of leaders, professionals, and changemakers.
