Educational Initiatives
Education is a basic requirement and a building block for human development which acts as one of the most effective tool for abridging poverty. It helps improving overall scenario of society by improving health, gender equality and beyond. Literacy levels in the area of our work is woefully low..
The educational scenario in the area is almost non-existent and drop out rate after primary education a challenge. Realising the importance of education, RBKS is actively working in this field to create educational facilities for the poor tribal children. With the dedicated efforts of our team, we have intervened in following areas:
- Non-Formal Education for pre-school boys and girls.
- Providing education opportunities for school drop-outs and deprived girls.
- Assisting in nutritional support for school going children.

- Setting up schools and colleges for Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary and College level education.
- Creating an environment suitable for education by motivation, advocacy and linkages
Due to gender bias, social taboos and other reasons such as involvement in household activities, poverty and lack of transport facilities; the situation of girls is inadequate. RBKS is working in improving this by providing residential facilities for tribal girls.
