As of now the organization has initiated developmental projects in surrounding villages of Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Sirohi and Rajsamand districts of Southern Rajasthan with Ratlam, Dhar and Jhabua districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Our major focus is on tribal belt surrounding Southern Rajasthan and MP, which includes the villages such as Jhadol, Kotra, Gogunda, Kherwara, Girwa, Rajsamand, Kherwara, Railmagra, Pindwara, Mount Abu, Bichiwara, Sagwara, Seemalwara and several others.
Our working areas are marked by Aravali Mountain Ranges in backdrop where the high slopes are carved out with separate barren hillocks. Population of villages are scrambled in small hamlets over this undulating land. The climate of the area is generally semi-arid with an average rainfall of 600mm per year in monsoon. The maximum temperature reaches the extremes of 50ºC during summers and touches a minimum of 3ºC in winters.
Our team at RBKS is continuously making its conscious efforts to mobilize programmes and inspire villages to participate. We facilitate linkages of villagers with government programmes and support other projects to make villagers aware of their own development.
With our tie ups with Community Based Organizations (CBO) and other small NGOs, we are constantly working in tribal juncture between Rajasthan and MP as the tribal groups here are socially and culturally alike.
